I have been redesigning my website for a few months now (whenever I find the time). I have most of the general layout in place and would like to get your opinions & critics. Keep in mind that this is work in progress so some pages will contain bogus filler content and some links might bring you to 404 not found pages.
Here's the link to the test site: http://www.veluzar.com/ArtHausFraming/

Let me know what you think.
Thanks in advance,
Troy

I love the design, very contemporary. Of course, I'm a little partial...it reminds me of my site, www.dna11.com .

Hi Troy,

Well presented site - easy to navigate and quite informative - but from a marketing point of view it is worth considering the "emotional aspect" of selling custom framing...

People buy off "people"... I would suggest that your website needs some photos of you & your staff/team - to help sell the "human" aspect of your personalised services & products - rather than just focus only on selling "physical concepts".... especially on the "About Us" page... "About Us" is about telling customers "who you are.." - and no doubt part of this should be revealing a photo of the people "behind the business".

Sell "the feeling" of custom framing - not just "the function".

Photos of customers are always helpful too. Humans relate to humans! :)

Cheers,

Jared

Also, by no means was I trying to hijack this thread. I do really like the layout of your site.

I love your site. Against my new 27" monitor with Windows 7 it really really popped.

I agree with the staff pictures, it always helps.

But the one big item that really stood out for me was the word BATHROOM mirrors. When mirrors are placed all over the house in this modern trend I think you are dating yourself with that word and it should be replaced with DECORATIVE mirrors for your entire house.

But you have yourself a great website, I am envious!
