On second thought, let's just forget it.

It is probably not worth the time, but it would be fun to contact these folks back and string them along for a bit - cost -them- time and frustration in return for being so dishonest.

I wonder if they are getting our emails from the G, is that possible?

I did once, when it was kwiet for a little fun. I kwoted some riduclous figure well over $5k each and they confirmed and sent me the "shipping company info" - I even had a few phone calls which I managed to string out for up to an hour on one occassion (cordless headsets are great). When we got to the transaction I kept telling him the card # was declined, we got through about 20 card numbers before he just hung up.... I never did hear from them again.

I've thought about stringing one or two along from time to time, but then I remember that these are not telemarketers, they're criminals. I think I'd rather stay far away.

And they are using stolen credit card numbers, so don't use them or you will be screwing someones credit up.

No theyre not getting them from the g :)

Most likely the folks getting those are receiving them through their website, or even a phone book/directory listing.

Ahem, maybe somebody doing an inside job!!

Maybe somebody is collecting those emails here and making a fortune selling them in Nigeria???;)

We have a mole!! (no, not the skin blemish......:p)

Anything is possible, what's to stop someone from signing up to the G and looking at personal profiles? many of which contain birthdates and emails.
