Help!
Have a customer who saw a very old etching:
horse rearing up with man holding reigns and a saddle. Looked like one of the old Arabian horse etchings. It was vertical and maybe somewhere around 36" x 24".

Of course no title or artist name to go with. Google wasnt helping much.
Does this sound familiar?
Thanks

Wow, I am pretty familiar with old horse etchings, especially Arabians, and your description is ringing no bells - sorry.

Maybe try Arabian horse websites?

There are gazillions of horse art websites out there - I don't dare bookmark 'em, too bloody tempting.

Yep this one is tough. Customer saw it at a booth in Tulsa at an Arabian Horse show. Best bet is probably having the customer try to make a contact with the show and figure out the vendor and maybe we can get info that way.
Thanks

My first thought was of Rosa Bonheur's painting "The Horse Fair." I have seen it printed in whole as well as in detail and in grey scale.

Have you tried Google "Images"? Type in the basic description and you have thousands of pictures to view.

Trouble with "The Horse Fair" is that those are not Arabians - more like draft horses. Certainly not the bodies of hot blooded horses.
