William Parker will be the speaker at the Ohio Chapter's June 24th meeting. William is the writer of the "Making Momey" column in DECOR magazine. He will speak on "Turning Your Shop Around". The talk will be based on his latest series of columns. If you haven't read the May & June columns yet, find them and read them. Some of the best writing in DECOR in years. The only problem is they are just one page long. The meeting starts a 7pm on Monday June 24 at the Holiday Inn Hudson. It is located at Route 8 and the Ohio Turnpike exit 12. PPFA members are $20 and non-members are just $45 and that includes PPFA membership through Oct. 2003 (additional guests are only $20). If you want to arrive early for dinner (6PM) the buffet is only $10 for members and non-members (Gumby...This could be a cheap date). Some of us have been known to stay late and continue the meeting afterwards in the lounge. This will be one of our better meetings (no elections or bylaws debates but we may ask for volunteers). Bring your employees. While a subject like this would normaly attract just business owners, employees will also be entertained by William's humorous tales.

Call 330-657-2228 for more info and to R.S.V.P.

Bob do you need to be from OHIO to attend?
Jim

Jim,

We welcome anybody from anywhere to attend our meetings.
Since my original post several suppliers have contacted me with door prizes for one more reason to attend what will be an excellent meeting.

Another reason to be there (as if Mr. Parker's presence wasn't enough)...

Your Very Own Framing Goddess will be there and will be in a good mood since she will not have to bring a covered dish!

-Edie, the social butterfly Goddess

Does that mean we'll see YOU there, Ron?

Wish I could come :(

I am hosting an art guild meeting at my shop on the same evening. boo-hoo

I'd much rather hang out with the goddess than a bunch of old artists.

(Gumby...This could be a cheap date). Some of us have been known to stay late and continue the meeting afterwards in the lounge.
Wait a minute Bob! What do you mean cheap Date? That is enough to make a guy turn dark green. If you don't watch out I will threaten to give a demostration at a future meeting and then everyone will be sorry.
