I have a customer looking for 60 - 13x19 'frames'. She is a retired professional photographer soon moving to Belise where she will teach the teens and young adults to use a digital camera and print photos. These photos will be of the country and will be taken on a travel display.

She wants the pictures to go in easily and to be hung easily. No mat (she knows the hazards).
She thought she had seen something in acrylic, where the art could be slipped in/out and it had a clip for hanging on the back. I pointed out the scratch problem inherent with acrylic (no funds for scratch resistant).

Any ideas other than readymades with flexible points?

Thanks much!

I bet Furst Brothers in Baltimore would do up that many back fill metal frames as readymades. The price wouldn't be bad, and they are nice folks. Call 1-800-638-9398 and ask for Donny or Bill. It wouldn't hurt to mention me... I could use some extra credit!

Sherry, there is a "tape" that has a thin foam that when wrapped around a strainer and inserted into an acrylic box, it holds in place. Any of the acrylic box makers can provide the proper strainer to do just what you want. Hanging is a matter of a nail to hang the strainer on.

In a lot of 60, I can't see where the rate would be much over $30 each. What a strange size.
