Entry #3

The owner wanted his 5 x 7 photos of two (beautiful) girls in a country setting Framed in a way to retain the country look. My answer was - take the wood off the barn & make a frame & fillet to match! So that's what we did & the owner loves it - as does anyone who sees the framing! Matte was a now discontinued Crescent mat - can't remember the number.

Entry #5

Piece includes 18 photos of a couple's travels in the husband's home country of Italy. Frame chosen was Larson Juhl 602530 with a Bainbridge 768525 mat. The wife never goes for more than one mat so we needed to provide some sort of embellishment, especially in the corners where there would be extra "dead space." The scrolls were chosen to accent the scroll work in the frame. Photos were attached by using mylar photo corners and the piece was finished with a UV clear glass. Retail price was $375. BTW, this piece won the wife over for a $8,000 project to frame all the work in her husband's new urology office.
