The NCPPFA is hosting its Fall conference (NCPPFA covers MN, SD, and ND.) on October 10, 2009!

The morning session will be led by Roger Nielson, Master Framers in St. Paul MN. Roger will do a "start to finish" demo and talk on The process of Frame Restoration". Roger also was the creator of the Presidential Frame used in the Bush Library.

In the afternoon Len Lastuck, inventor of Maxim Wood Glue, Kool Tack and Ultra Lite Glass Cleaner, will led a session on "Dry Mounting Techniques" and innovations in the mounting process.

And of course, the print and open competition will be held too!

I spent a good deal of time yesterday trying to bring the information sheets for the NCPPFA conference in to the Grumble. Had to sleep on it and fianally figured it out early this AM. As most of you know I have a love hate relationship with my computer. Last night I was in the hate mode....today success! Hopefully the pages will be clear enough to read and use if you need to.

Open & Print competition entries....

I just tried to copy off the sheets and it appears that my efforts were successful! Extra...extra...read all about it!

To all print and open competition entry participants: If you are coming to the conference you do not have to ship your entries ahead of time. You can bring them the morning of the registration. Also, if you are dropping off or shipping your entry we will need them by Oct. 6. If you have any questions about the return please contact me at 1-800-527-1521 or local 651-438-3848.

Note: Only the eastern half of North Dakota is in our chapter. If you are in the middle of the state of ND somewhere you may want to check with Heather at PPFA to see if you are part of our chapter or the M&P chapter. If you are part of our chapter you should be getting e-mails and information from us. If you haven't been and know that you are part of the North Central chapter, or would like to be, please e-mail me at ncppfa@aol.com .

We are also in need of another CPF to judge the competition at our meeting. If you are a CPF and are planning on attending we could use your help.
