I was wondering, probably should have known this, but I don't. What side faces the artwork, the non-glare coated side or the regular side?

Thanks in advance!

Dan

regular side faces art work...

we all start some where... welcome to the Grumble

thanks for the quick response, I really appreciate your advice.

I ship my frames with the plastic/paper left on the acrylic. Here's what I tell my customers in my packing instructions.

Non-Glare Acrylic. Which side do you place out when your frame has non-glare acrylic? The label side is the “out” side and should be placed facing out. If your piece has had the label removed or the paper backing has been removed you can still tell which side is to be placed “out”. Hold the acrylic so you can look at a light bouncing off the face of the acrylic. When you look at the light, one side will be clear; the other side will be slightly distorted. The distorted side is the side placed “out” in your frame.

An of course I get questions from them on which side goes out on regular acrylic; FF3 or UV. I had to change my instructions for this.

Yeah, I think I figured out which side goes where on UV clear or Premium clear, it was a long and tedious process, but in the end, I got it.

On another note, have you ever left the cover on both sides when you put a frame together and let the customer remove them when they got home?
