We've had an awful lot of big things to deal with latley. Mostly not so interesting but I thought this piece of art was exceptional and it reminded me of Baers recent post except we didn't go so far as to use a fillet or the museum OP=3. This is a watercolor brought back from China. It's beautifuly done. Remarkable control. Its on a very light weight paper. Mulberry? I think the framing worked well. Very understated, no frills. The image is 67"x36". We used a 3" mat liner from Falcon with Oyster silk and a LJ Manhatten frame. Museum mounted, the reg. OP-3 on top of the liner and went with the wallbuddies for hanging.

I can't believe I did that. Fortunatley my wife has never checked out TG. Hope she doesn't start today or this may be my last post. Unless maybe y'all want to order a shirt.

Terry.... to funny. I used to have a "Frame Slut" t-shirt....

My wife thinks I should have one now that says
"BFGF Slut" ( Big ****ing Gold Frames ). It was an out growth of my taking 3,800 pictures of 13th-16th century Tabernacle and Trophy frames in Europe....
She doesn't want to go to "another stinking museum again".... and I just want to work in them...
