No Deliveries Today For FI and LJ To Seattle

Just got the word they are pushing the deliveries out one day to wednesday due to the snow!!!

Gee.... last year it didn't happen till Dec 18th . . .

The sun is out...... here, now...... 26 degrees, so the ice is still there.

Stay dry Francisco, this too shall pass..... just in time for the hammer to fall. :icon11:

Anne, they only got a few inches..... which respectively, it's like you getting 2 feet, or Chicago getting 6".

We got about an 1" of rain each day for four days..... and the traffic made you wonder where all of the Southern Californication drivers came from..... gridlock from 2pm til 9 or 10 at night.

Off to the store.... time to stock up on Clorox..... only have four gallons, but with hurricanes you n . . . oops, wrong weather. :D More punkin pie and of course, cowbells.
 
Geez Baer...balmy down there...only 20 degrees up here.

Last night I got caught in the horror..took me 2 and a half hours to go 8 MILES, slipping and sliding the whole way on the ice, even moving at a crawl. Thank God for my 4WD...I saw many a vehicle spun out and stuck...:eek:

What a mess...
 
..and then there are those who live inn Florida..82 today, 63 tonight.
 
What snow, it is sunny and 80 right now. The front door is open and the air conditioning is popping on and off but no snow. Maybe my air conditioner being on with the door open is causing that snow up there.
 
Well we have the cold already. We're in the 20s here too today. Yesterday, it was in the 40s and the southern part of WI and northern IL had tornadoes!

I'm really not looking forward to the first storm with freezing, slushy stuff but that is what they are predicting for our part of the state tomorrow. I was hoping those of you west of me would be able to say it wasn't as bad as the predictions.
 
BRRRRRR!!!! High today 6, low tonight heaven only knows. Had the quarterly service on the furnaces on the roof of the building last week. No fan on the retail area today. So the temp is 60.
High wind too. Hopefully the furnace guy gets here soon.
 
we were just below 60F yesterday. cold winds today mean winter is on its way

Well we have a different situation in Vegas - LJ loaded up their trucks a day early (Friday) so they could get their drivers back by Wed instead of Thursday -- yeah, the drivers deserve a ThanksGiving break too. So no deliveries today in Vegas. Thats ok, I will get my order next Tuesday.
