New Valiani?

Mine is a MatPro 150 with all the toys, including the 2nd generation MatStylus and the multi-tip debosser. This entry-level machine does more than any other CMC brand on the market, and does it consistently well. Corel Draw enables you to design and cut virtually any mat you can think of.

It's too bad you couldn't make it to the Don Mar Open House last weekend. They had a Valiani set up and cutting, debossing, and inking mat samples for all the guests. It was cutting shapes out of 3/16" foam board and 4mm Coroplast, too.

This CMC was the right choice for me, and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. No problems in the first three years (other than the operator, of course).

Disclaimer: I have no relationship with Valiani or its parent company, ITW/AMP

Give Jerry Ervin a call and he will give you a raving review. He dumped his Wizard when he bought a used Valiani and said it is in a whole different class.

I moved this thread from Warped to the CMC forum.

If you are struggling to get any information then give me a shout.

I am on my 3rd Valiani CMC. I hasten to add that each one was an upgrade. Started with a single head MatPro CMC 120. Then up to the MatPro CMC 120 interchangeable head. I am now on the PLUS CMC-is 120. I have all the heads and the Deluxe MatStylus Pen holder.

I am in the UK and I am a Valiani Accredited demonstrator and trainer.

Not sure if this a "new" website, but it works ...

We have an older Mat-Pro 150. It's great, I love it ... but I want all the bells and whisles ... mine will be in the "For Slae" section soon so I can upgrade!

I have a 150 pro and love it. It does a great job and offers so much. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call.

If you buy one, I highly recommend the often-overlooked end trimmer accessory.

Since it is mounted on the machine and has a pneumatic clamp, it is quite accurate and can be more convenient than trimming on a bench-mounted cutter a few steps away. It will trim foam board and fluted polypropylene (Coroplast) up to 3/16" thick, as well. For end trimmer blades, the ones we take out of the cutting heads serve double duty.

If you wish, the machine will size your mats automatically, but after the cutting operations, before stowing the leftover board pieces, you would probably want to trim off those thin perimeter scraps outlining the mat's size, anyway. Pre-sizing your mats on the end trimmer is a fast task that can extend the life of the machine by reducing the cutting miles, maybe as much as 50%. For my money, that's a good buy.
