There's likely a new infection out there this morning which the a/v programs aren't detecting yet. I recieved 4 variations of it since last night, so it must be spreading quickly.

The email comes in FROM your own email domain (ex for me: support@getthepictureframing.c0m), addressed to a random name inside your company. ie: bob@gette* and has an attachment.

If you get one of these, don't open the attachment or you'll likely be infected.

Those were MYDOOM.BU infections and a patch is now out.
 
I heard about a "new" threat the other day on the rdaio. (New to me, that is.)

It's called kidnap-ware or hijack-ware or something similar and it goes into your system and encrypts your critical data files. Then you get an email offering to send you the code to decrypt the files - for a fee.

I think that wants been coming in here and I was worried that others were getting them from the G.
