I was at the NY show and again met the nice guy from MS, who manufactures the bubble wrap products, at the M&M booth. I placed my usual order and also ordered a new product which isn't yet in the catalog. It is the small bubble wrap with an adhesive on the flat side. This adhesive doesn't leave any residue (although I'm sure someone will gainsay this). I got it to replace corners. I use it to cover the whole edge of the frame. I also found when placing frames against each other I can just put a piece between them and it stays there because of the adhesive. Everyday I find a new use.

It comes in a 300' 24" wide roll. I got it cut into 3 8" wide rolls (you can specifiy width totalling 24") with 1" perforations. It cost $109 (show price) for the total of 900'. So I can tear a square as small as 8"x12" for the myriad of uses.

I guess someone will do a cost analysis and find it is too expensive but if you are a gadget/tool nut this is the stuff dreams are made of.

WOW! I can put that can of 77 back on the shelf.... :D

And it doesn't pull off leaf? Very cool idea!

Thanks AlE. Shows are so great.

Oops! The bubble wrap removed some leaf from a moulding after many times not doing so. I pulled it off quickly and that is probably why it happened this time. In any case I won't be using it on leaf. I apologize if anyone got it on my recommendation. If so, don't use it on leaf. It works great otherwise.
