Hi Kelly and welcome to The Grumble!

Do you have any plans to submit your information to FrameReady so I can sell your moulding through our POS system? It shouldn't be too difficult.

Hi Kelly and welcome to The Grumble!

Do you have any plans to submit your information to FrameReady so I can sell your moulding through our POS system? It shouldn't be too difficult.

I apologize but I have no heard of FrameReady. What information would we need to submit to help you sell our moulding?

Kelly, I have one quick question for you to answer for me. In your new catalog are you going to sell ALL three of your lines by the foot? (length or chop) I have tried several times and your company policy makes it almost impossible to do busness with your firm. Most small framers today, can not buy boxes of each moulding made in the standard line. I have visted your company and have no problems with quality of product or your wonderful staff. It's just seems you don't want to make available the one line that most framers would be interested in a method that 99% of the other frame manufacturers do. :soapbox: DarthFramer, OH

I can understand your frustrations with the boxes vs. stick sales. And we do sell mouldings by the stick, just not through my department (House Stock). Most of our mouldings are available to purchase by the stick through our Factory Outlet store. They have different pricing and if you give them a call they will be more than happy to assist you. You can view their site here. Or you can call them directly at 574-264-3129 ext. 333.

Does that help?

Thanks for you quick reply. Like I said, you have a wonderful staff!

Went to your new Outlet web site. Quite an improvement I must say. One suggestion, you'll sell more product if you list your prices and not ask for someone to get on the phone. I understand prices and stock change but this would really make it easy to buy from you. Thanks again.

You are very welcome! And it was a pleasure speaking to you on the phone. I hope our sales rep will be able to help you even more! :D

Here is the website for Soft Touch Solutions, the developers of FrameReady. FrameReady and LifeSaver are the two primary framer's point of sales systems in the retail framing industry. I believe you just need to supply them with spreadheets of the moulding #'s, descriptions, width and pricing.

Framer's depend on their POS systems and, though I have some of your samples and love the quarter sawn oak, I don't automatically reach for it because it's a pain to price it out from the catalog instead of using our POS software. Every other vendor I carry is in my software system except for Nickell Mldg.

Well now, we can't have you choosing others over us! ;)

I will definitly bring it up to the owner and see what we can do about changing that.
