It's probably an ITW-AMP VN-42. What's wrong with it? Some repairs are pretty easy to do yourself, and the people at ITW-AMP will talk you through it.

she doesnt want to do it... she wants someone else to look at it.. and yes it is the vn 4+2 like i wrote in the other post.

We also have a joiner from ITW AMP and have the same problem. We could not find someone to service it and could not get it adjusted right on the phone. We ended up taking it apart and sending it to them for a complete rehaul. It was a fortune to have it done and we could probably have bought a new joiner from a different company but my framers like this model. I just wish they had people to service their machinery.
