hehe...this is a dumb question, but what is expected of you when someone adds you as a friend? I have recieved a few emails that say "so and so has added you as a friend." I accept them, but then wonder what does that do? should I contact the people? Do we have special features.

I don't want to be rude since I really like this forum :) Plus, since I'm just starting out, I could use LOTS of friends in the framing business. I am quite ignorant about forums this being the first I've every joined.

When you add someone as a friend it means you will lay down your life for them. If they die you will make sure their kid's college education is covered, their mortgage gets paid and no one here will ever disparage or ridicule them.

Choose wisely.

Should you receive such a notice, and you decide to add them as a friend, the rules say (page 3, paragraph 2 II a) that you should send them a large box of good quality chocolate.

PS: I am adding you right now.....;)

I'm really glad that somebody asked this because I was wondering also - only have one friend so far and it may be my one and only friend but at least now I know what is expected - send the cocolate or lay down your life for the kids - what choices.... :icon21:

This here Suzie has been here for four measly months and already she’s got 3 friends. I’ve been here 7 years, and I’ve only got four lousy people on my site – no, no, I didn’t mean my friends were lousy, … really, … I meant the number of friends was lousy … yeah, that’s what I meant, … really.

Okay, Suzie, you can be my friend.

But, don’t expect nothin’.
