I lost my book on this product and don't remember what to set my vac press. Have not used the guard in about four years and now I have a customer who wants it on his poster.

Are you talking about Bienfang Finish Guard?

If so, it's 225 degrees

3/16 Foamcore - up to 32"x40" Press- 4 min
3/16 Foamcore - up to 40"x60" Press- 7 min
3/16 Foamcore - up to 48"x96" Press- 10 min

If not, try Googling it with the manufacture's name. Or you could call them. Good luck!

Okay ... maybe this will help ... Seal.

If someone has the manual for this, let me have it and I will put it on the manuals page.

225 degrees? Isn't foamcore's heat point 210 before it spontaneously combusts?

When we were trying to figure out our new thermostat in our Seal press, I experimented at different temperatures and dwell times. We found ours worked best at 190 degrees for 13 minutes -- much longer dwell time, but lower temperature.
