Is there a formula for pricing optium plexi?
I am ordering a piece of Optium 32"x46" @ a cost of $***.
What do i charge the customer?
Thanks,
C.J.

Pricing is very subjective, and depends on many variables. (what the local market will bare, to include freight, labor, rent, utilities, etc)

We ask that grumblers not post wholesale prices or markups on the forum, because the general public could search and have this info.

I edited your message to remove the wholesale price.

Some folks may email you privately with answer.

If you have a professional point of sale software, there should be a general idea of the retail price included in there. (average for all of USA, not for your specific market) You can also get a general idea in the back of the LJ catalog, in their suggested markups section. (although I'm not sure if it goes up to that size and type of glazing)

I'm sorry that I dont have an exact answer, but wanted to post as a reminder about the not sharing wholesale costs or markups on the open forum.

Note: It is ok to do so on the forum at www.ppfa.com, if you are a member.

You need to price everything you sell to produce a profit. If you're not sure how to go about that, Jay Goltz and Ken Baur both offer excellent seminars on pricing strategies.

Thank you

Thanks Mike for editing my message...forgot that this site was open to everyone...sorry.

Jim thank you for the idea of taking a seminar in pricing. I did...it helped some. Still, i find it hard to guesstimate what the market will bear on high end things.

Hope your holidays are filled with good health, joy and laughter!!!!
