A commercial account I do business with called and ask me if I would like to bid on an upcoming project, sounded simple enough...now I can't seem to find the moulding they want ...So I need some help trying to locate a basic flat moulding..I have checked online with all my vendors and cannot find a basic "Flat" moulding...2 inches x 7/8 profile with 1/2 rabbit...I need this with a smooth finish, (absolutely no texture), because these folks plan to paint them, so the finish (To a certain degree) does not matter so long as it can be painted...MDF with wraps are out, because of the paint...As usual...I need to find a moulding that will fit into their budget.....
Anyone out there in Grumbleland got any leads, ideas, answers, questions !!!
I need access to about 16,000 feet of this...So, if any of you wonderful folks want to jump in here and help point me in the right direction,It would be very much appreciated...

Someone on here might know of another source, but for that quanity I would recommend checking locally about having it milled. You would save a lot in shipping.
Check with the lumberyards that still have mill facilties or a cabinetmaker, someone local should be able to hook you up on such a basic profile. All you need is a nice paint grade wood, or even MDF but that is limited to 8 or 9' lenght.

Thanks for the quick response...I do have a lead for someone local..I am checking with him Monday....I was in hopes of finding it local....lately the shipping cost have been killing some of my jobs...Just thought I would see if any of the helpful Grumlers might have an idea or lead in case I can't find it locally...

16,000' of budget moulding is a mid-sized run for us. We also have many options to keep things in your budget constraints. Give us a call, we'd love to bid that out.

NOTE: GA starts answering phones about 4 hours before CA.... :D
