I've been using this site www.etsy.com a lot lately. Finding unique artists who wholesale their works. They even have an Alchemy where you can request custom made items and artists bid on the chance to create it for you.
I've used it to have table top spinner racks for fillets made, I even ordered vinyl lettering for my shop windows. Great Prices!! And you're helping the starving artist.
Its sorta like an ebay for everything hand-made. I even listed a shop for my "shop" where I sell my own photography and my horse's paintings: http://studio3.etsy.com/
