I am planning a trip to Aussie for a National trade show in July. So far tickets I have found are over $2,000. I have tried orbitz, expedia, cheap tickets. Anyone have any ideas for this type of travel. Has been years since I went over seas.

You do realize the New York show is ALOT closer

I just realized you are going there to sell your speedmats. In that case... never mind!!

Have fun on your walkabout.

Shawn,

As you may know, I've traveled to this show (fair) for the past 15 years, and I'll share with you that I'm typically looking at $1,300-1,700 to get there from the midwest. From Maine, you might be looking at a bit more.

If you're traveling within Europe you've got RyanAir and EasyJet; if you're heading throughout the southwest or east coast of the U.S., then you've got SouthWest. But on this route, the main carriers are United, American, British Air and Quantas, so the discounters don't really factor in.

To the point that Lance is making... There has been controversy in the show situation, but this appears to have settled down, and their is only one real show promoted by Profile Magazine...

See you there!
