Searching For Mylar 5mm matt on one side

Have a friend looking for drafting mylar. He says it is 5mm thick and is matt finished on one side. All I can find from United seems to be Melinex.

Anyone have a source for something like this?

You can get that product from a drafting supply store, or a company that reproduces engineering drawings on polyester film. 5-mil, 7-mil, and 10-mil are popular, as I recall.

Some art material suppliers have it, too, but it is not generally considered a framing product.

When you find it, make sure it is not acetate or other plastic. Insist on polyester film, because it is more durable over time.
