Since I received my new (to me) laptop, I had been using a corded mouse (those touch pads make me crazy). I finally decided last week that I needed a cordless mouse so I did a little research and stopped by the local Radio Shack to pick up a nice red Logitech M305. It was on sale.

Loved it so much I bought a second one for the computer at home.

It is smaller, ergonomically shaped with rubber grips on the edges, and it connects to the computer with a teensy weensy little USB hub nub.

Why didn't anyone tell me about this before - it is a wonderful and very zippy little mousie!!! No more having to clean cat hair out of the track ball!!! YAY!!!

PLUS I was very impressed with the packaging - it was an "Easy Open" blister pack that actually opened easily and the plastic pack was clearly marked as PET so it is recyclable.

Way to go Logitech!!!

My old track ball mouse was an Acer and it popped apart after landing on the floor a few years back. I kept the battery area closed with tape and the right click button was sticky, so I am really appreciating the new Logitech.

PLUS - the new ones take ONE AA battery, instead of TWO AAA batteries, so it is even easier to run. PLUS, in addition to an on/off switch, it has a feature where it automatically hibernates when not being used to save the battery life.

LOVE IT!!!

You are so easily amused Lucy. We are happy you are entering and embracing the new century which began over a decade ago.

The amusement never ends Lucy, looking forward to a new year of wacky adventures. :icon21:
