My Last Piece

Finally got around to this one, with 4 hours to spare. I was going to use a maple frame from Vermont Hardwoods that I had set aside, but I ended up selling that to a customer on Monday. So luckily I had something similar lurking in my moulding bin!

It's a Tlingit piece, called Thunderbird By the Sea, I think.

Just because you are closing shop doesn't mean the relatives won't
still expect you to frame everything for them!

Yep, great piece of work. It is a good reminder that when it comes to matting less is often more.
 
True, my last piece will be the big painting going in the Louis XVI closed corner frame from Rhonda Feinman, which I'll be doing later this month.
