O.K., I don't know if it is just me but I don't like the look of square openings cut from the front on the Wizard and the thought of having 5 of them double cut in this matt was not a happy one. Snag was the centre opening was a shape which only cuts decently from the front so what to do?

I saved the design then took it to the "edit" screen, deleted the centre opening, had the "Wiz" cut the four square openings from the back and cut the outside.

Next, I went back to the "Edit" screen, used the "undo" to get the centre opening back, deleted the four square openings and cut the centre opening from the front.

The Wiz is so precise that not only was the centre opening exactly centred but all five double cuts lined up perfectly.

Nice .....

It is nice to have an employee(Wizard) who can do things really really good...LOL

Some times there are reasons to cut from the front.
You could have cut it as a reverse bevel and not had to switch it.
Maybe I misunderstood what you were doing.

What I like best about cutting from the face is that you can stack up to three mat blanks into the machine and cut all three layers in one operation.
