I have a customer who saw something at a show that she wants me to reproduce - a photo, mounted to a black wood plaque with a beveled edge.

Now, I figure there are places that sell these plaques and I would appreciate knowing the who/whats/and wheres of commercial options if anyone knows of them.

Also, I am thinking this may be something I could make myself...

How might people recommend doing the mount? Anything over the top?

Thanks! :)

Hi Michael

You could use Perma-Graphics in Denver

1919 Federal Blvd 80204

Will you be at the gilding class on Sunday?

Anything over the top?

Um, almost everything! :)

On the CP's I have seen the print itself is covered with an ordinary adhesive laminate.

You can buy specialized machines to cut the bevels in MDF, which otherwise does not easily lend itself to clean bevels.

Michael,
Picture This ...Superior. 303-926-8931
They are located in Lafayette. Probably not too far from you.

Many thanks for the additional replies and resources! Hello Mik, hope you are doing well! I was unaware of the gilding class on Sunday...can you send specifics to me in PM? I would love to go...not sure what my schedule for the day might be...

We do these and we are right up the street (287). South Loveland 1284 S Grant Ave - The Photo Touch. To be blunt also, picture this superior is a lower quality (obvious visible difference) and we can also explain why at our shop.
