mounting leather-borne art

I've had several pieces of Mexican art painted on supple leather come in lately. I've used stitchery tape to attach the piece to matboard taped to foam, and I pinned one piece that had sufficient margin.
Any suggestions for easy, effective methods to mount these pieces would be most welcome.

Jill,
I don't thnk you're being ignored, just the mounting gurus are all off for the weekend*. Until they get back, you might want to do a search in the archives for similar issues.
The only help I can offer is to avoid using pressure sensative tapes to attach the leather to the mount. I'm not too sure about pinning either.

*St. Patrick's Day and the beginning of Spring Break should never be coincidental.
