Mounting Crochet

Hello All,
Like others with crochet opportunities, Im trying to ramp up for a customer comming in this week. One thing I read was "use no starch". Does this mean crochet is not to be blocked or "stiffened" prior to mounting?

No starch by you, if the customer does it then you have to work with what they give you.

Starch will darken, eventually.
