I have had quite a number of inquiries about framing these.
Some are pretty large up to 4'x8'.
The substrate is like a paper/canvas combo.
I know they are purchased inexpensively in India, and need ideas for mounting.
Wet mount under weights with Franks fabric? Try stretching on wood/gator panel?
Should they be glazed?
Thanks.

By paper/canvas combo do you mean collages?
These look like paintings we do quite regularly- they are gouache/acrylic type paintings done on a firm and flat silky polyester, probably. They are pretty darn flat and dry mount beautifully. One thing to know is that they are rarely square- they are almost always crooked, some matting up over the edge of the painted area is usually called for.

I never tried dry mounting, and never would with those. If it goes awry, yuck. I usually sewed them down at the upper corners. They are light enough that a little thread at each upper corner is more than sufficient. Then you can mat over the edges.

I think that is the correct material. The one I have is 4'x8' so won't fit in press, any ideas?

Thanks, on one this size, would probably have to pin all the way round.

I have dry mounted pieces up to 4' x 8' in my heat press; we have done it in bites and it works just fine. And Paul, we have used kooltack and the like and were able to peel it right off later.
