Excuse me for sounding like I don't know what you are doing but try to explain it clearer.

Are you just trying to mount a mirror into a frame? What's special about it?

If I have this right, you're trying to put a wooden (probably) frame around a mirror which has 2", 3" etc. probably bevelled mirrored strips around it? If so, and if the frame you're trying to put around it has a deep enough rabbet, just drop the mirrored article into the regular frame, back with either gatorboard or foamboard, secure with points or heavy-duty staples. I don't glue anything because inevitably someone wants it undone later. I've found no difficulty with the above method unless the thing is gigantic. I also cover the back with hardboard screwed to the larger frame: this reinforces the package tremendously. Don't forget to paint the inside lip of the overframe so it's compatible with the reflection of the mirror pushed up against it. Add three hole mirror straps on the vertical sides and that should do it.

O.K. Guys and Girls I am sorry I am so confusing let me try and simplify this.
I already have a beveled mirror, and it is already framed I could hang it on the wall and it would be perfect. My Problem is that I want to put another photograph with its own frame, smack down in the middle of the mirror. How do I attach it???

I would use silicon. I would make it as light as possible and glue it down good. I don't think much of the design, but you could cut it off with a single edge blade.

Ok! You were right with the drill holes through the mirror. Do you know how to do it? If not you have two choices.

Buy the special drill and practice on a scrape piece of glass.

Take the mirror to a gl****shop and they will drill the holes for you for a small fee.

I used to do that a lot years ago and it's not that hard once you get into it. The investment is small and the profit great, have fun.
