A customer has inquired about shadow-boxing a four-leaf clover. She has flattened the piece between two pieces of waxed paper a year or so ago, and says it is still green in colour. I have not seen the piece yet. I tried to find some info on mounting this thing in the archives, but apparently I don't know how to search properly.
I expect it will be very dry and brittle. I thought covering it with Mylar under a mat window may work. Any suggestions?
Thanks. Happy Spring!

The mylar works. We also cut two mats and glue the two mats together with the end of the stem sandwiched between the mats.

My spouse has this thing for finding 4 leaf clovers. He uses corner samples of metal frames to frame and give to special people. Of course our daughter says she wants hers in a real frame. We have donated them to fund raising auctions and one sold for near $100.
