Hello! First time posting- any ideas on mounting a fragile “mask” made from bone into a shadowbox? I’m thinking tulle wouldn’t work well with the curves around the nose? Also, is tulle considered archival? This has a flat back, but also very brittle. It could be held at top by loop, but what extra support could be used to hold it in place?

I'd lean toward using the loop to take most of the weight and putting bent wire supports either all the way around or just at the sides and bottom. I would use either aluminum or copper wire covered by clear shrink tubing so as not to gouge the bone.
