Mounting a 26x28 Silk scarf

I need to float mount a 26x28 silk scarf. I was going to put the scarf on a Rag board and wrap Stabilitex around it. I have only worked with Stabilitex once and I found it challenging to work with.
So does anyone who has worked with it before have any tips?
