Very seldom do customers come in with frame photos on "canvas". I know, i know... canvas is supposed to be stretched, not mounted, BUT what do you do when there is only 1/2" or even less "extra" all around photo? Not-so-smart photographer don't realize to stretch canvas a stretcher bar is only possible when there is a sufficient amount of extra canvas around the photo... at lease an inch!

I mount it using Fome Cor brand heat activated board from International Paper. It has a much thicker coating of film and sticks great.

You can also use the films such as Fusion etc.

Speed Mount does not hold very well.

I also have used Frank's with Gator Board, but be aware that Frank's Fabric Adhesive, according to the company's namesake, is not archival. They do have a neutral Ph adhesive. Not sure if that is considered archival.

A better adhesive might be Lascaux.

I've had execellent results with Lascaux 360 from Talas online with giclees and such. I mount on to 8 ply rag.
