I think that might be from Gryphon. Or it might be an old Max Moulding (no longer in business).

It is Roma 17255 from their Elements collection. Still shows as available in LSS.

Wow! I saw Gryphon at the WCAF show and thought they had cool stuff. But, I had forgotten to followup. Thanks for that suggestion!

Awesome! I thought I looked through Roma too.... In the photo from the customer it looks wider so we shall see but it is dead on otherwise.
Thank you very much!

I hate mouldings like this one. The person that made this frame did an incredible job of matching up the corners but for us ordinary mortals it ain't so easy. Take a look at one of the Roma pictures of this moulding. The corner doesn't match and with the width of the repeating pattern it will be very difficult to make it look good. They only had to match on corner and couldn't do that. This one will never make it on my (virtual) wall. I had a couple from Bella's Gaudi Wave sline that found it's way into my scrap heap for this reason.

You can match up 3 out of 4 corners with moulding of this kind of design, but you end up with a ton of waste.

The worse frame we ever had was one with fruit and leaves on it (I can't remember who made it). We had a sample just because it looked really cool, but I don't think we ever planned on selling one. Well, low and behold, an artist came in a felt that frame was just perfect for her latest work. We figured the supplier would make some effort to cut the moulding so the big lumps of fruit weren't in the corners like the sample was made. Oh no! They cut right through the fruit on a couple of the corners. The fruit had to have been 1/2" deep. There was just no way to make a useable frame. We showed the artist and she went with something else. We threw the sample away.

We can create frames like that using the CNC router and adjust the scale so all of the corners look proper. Just thought I would throw that out there.
