Moulding search: 2 inch deep brushed silver, black inside, silver outside

I'm assuming that this is for a canvas as this is a floater moulding.
If you have access to a table saw, you could cut away part of the back of the moulding and attach the canvas flush with the back.
This might give you the extra 1/4" that you need.

Also, you could possibly re-stretch the canvas (if it is a canvas) on shorter bars.

Thanks Neil. I kind of figured that one out. Cutting off the side and attaching it to an inner
I have also got a flat black floater frame in mind that is 3/8ths wide on the face by 1" deep on the rabbet to give it the perfect width the client wants the float to sit. And surprisingly the canvas seems to be very square and straight so it might work. Trying to decide on a strip of spacer material or using the inner float liner and having it stick out the back the 1/4 inch that I need.

Restretching is not an option. Vary valuable original with a very sharp edge that has been there for 25 years and I won't restretch it.

Thanks for the input.

That Roma looks promising. Thank you. I will order sample on Monday Am
If it's silver on the outside it might work.

I do appreciate the suggestions.
