Hi Grumble Land,

Can any one help me identify or offer suggestions for a similar moulding to this one. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

It is approx. 2" wide

Thanks, Beck

Not really trying to be flip here but, judging by the finish and the join quality, it appears to be a cheap quality moulding used on OEM wall art brought in by the containerload from China. You might be able to go to T.J. Max and buy a picture to reuse the moulding. Might be cheaper than finding a chop.

Either an old Piedmont (they really loved that wipe and heavy fly speck.... they also were almost exclusively hot wheel clicker moulders)

Or a cheap Victor.

Check with Tracy Chop

Yes, Rick it is an inexpensive ready made frame, so I do not expect to find an exact match. My customer will accept "close enough." It is funny how someone can look at a framed piece and can't imagine ANY other frame on it. This is one of those cases, unfortunatley.

I'll check with Tracy Chop, thanks, Baer

hehe! That's the Vintage Expedition map in the original framed edition frame, ain't it! :D We offered to help that distributor at a better quality. Unfortunately, he has a severe problem returning phone calls.

Cranbrook looks the best on that print, btw. IMHO.

You could try LJ500CG, LJ357591, LJ 406CG, or this one.
Don't forget the fabric mats! ;)
