I don't keep any prints in inventory because 1) I don't have the space 2)I am sure my tastes differ greatly from my customers. That being said, I would like to have a few print catalogues in the shop for the many customers who ask, "Do you have any prints?"
I have a nice catalogue from Wild Apple which usually runs $35 + shipping. I got it for only $8 (shipping). I am thinking of New York Graphics, but wanted to ask you folks what publishers may be most popular. Seeing that these catalogues are nice & therefore not really cheap and rarely free...what do you suggest?
I use Lieberman's on the web, but I really want something tangible for myself and my customers.

I like Somerset, Toh-Atin, and NY GRaphics.

but I use Leibermans when a customer want's something that is not either western or wildlife.

Think about the Lieberman's ArtExplorer disc. It's much easier to navigate than their Gallery website. Searches can be refined by size, style, color, and subject.

If you want to have a hefty catalog or two on hand, both NYG and Bruce McGaw offer a wide range of prints.

It all depends on what you are selling. I would highly reccomend that you look at Image Conscious, Bruce McGaw, Editions Limited as the top 3 that we use, in that order.

Image Conscious is a good company that both publishes and distributes good artwork. Try them out.

Also as Kit said, get the Liebermans DVD or CD Rom.

Thanks Boxer for the links. I have found at the shows, most publishers have a special going on and it usually is not that much, some with free freight, and then you get the catalog free, and have a few prints on hand for those "Do you have any prints on hand" customers.
