As framers, we have to be an inventive bunch.

Some time ago I posted this use of my Attach-EZ

Just fixed my wallet that was given to me by my deceased father, I have been carrying it since 87 and don't want to give it up.

Today, I had another emergency come up that I had to solve. The elastic band in my pants let go on one side. Unless I wanted to be known as the "Naked Framer" (which would not be a pretty sight) I had to do something quickly. Attach-EZ to the rescue. A couple of tags and I was back in business. No pictures shown for your own protection. :icon21:

How have you used, you're Attach-EZ other than for framing??????????

I thought I had a problem. I'm normal, but I'm not sure about you:icon10:.

I used it to hem my mom's bedspread which is just a tinge too big for her bed - folded back the end corners and Attach-EZ'd (?) into place. A lot easier than sewing!

Have also used for errant buttons on various shirts. And I made tags for my sidewalk sale and used the tagging gun (kinda like the tagging gun circle of life!).

:)

I'm shot I hem my jeans with it...lasts thru lots of washes. Only have to re-shoot if I catch my foot in the fold!:icon21:

My favorite Khaki Green Tilley Pants have seen A LOT of action. The hem gave out while at work and the AtachEZ was the perfect fix!

Are you sure that's the right month, Dave? I just got ten copies in
by Fed Ex overnight, and you're not anywhere in there. :icon19:

I've never thought of it before, but this thread has me wondering
something. I was about to joke that maybe Pat could fiddle around
with it and come up with a way to make it an ear piercing tool as well.
Then I thought, what if that's where she got the idea from in the
first place? Definite similarities, if only in a broad sense. However she
came up with it, I'm so glad that she did. All good inventions seem to
be inevitable in hindsight, leaving us wondering, 'Why didn't I think of
that?' But we didn't and she did. Go, Pat! We love ours, and are
excited about using the new non-reflective encapsulation plastic, too.

I just got one, and LOVE the thing!! I used it so much this week, and only put it through 2 fingers so far! No blood on the jerseys, though! lol!

Fixed a horse blanket last winter when the horse stepped on the strap and it was too cold to take off the horse to sew it!!

I have Taxidermy in North Pole AK who orders supplies once a year, generally around Christmas. He uses it to attach fabric to the back of bear hides. The post office always gets a real kick out of the fact that I am sending a package to the North Pole....get this....his address is Bear Cub Lane.

For anyone who is a quilter.....I am that told they use the tools to hold the layers together and set designs. There is also something called whack and stack that they say it works very well for as well. Not sure what that is, but if it works, yeah!

I've heard you can use the AttachEZ to mount tattoo art when framing.

Along the same lines as hemming (I guess – never having done it), I have repaired a hole in my pocket with Attach-EZ.

They get a little scratchy against my thigh, but at least I don't lose my keys. :p

If you need to hang curtains fast, just poke Attach-EZ through the dry wall and you won't need to bother with curtain rods!! Just be careful of the electrical wiring! ;)

Just be sure to do that twisting motion so you don't bend the needle going through the drywall.
;) Rick

The kind of drywall used in today's construction is softer than some of the fabrics I've mounted.
