Bob Carter: A while back, you stated under a double mitre topic:

>>>>2. Wall Bros of Brownwood, Tx made a saw that is built like a Sherman tank, and every replacement part can be found at Ace Hardware<<<

Question...what name brand is it? I called Wall Moulding and they knew nothing about it and don't sell any equipment. Any other suggestions when interested in getting a double mitre saw?? Thank you. ajhohensee

was that same saw that was sold by twt..years ago?? if so...i am having a problem with my blades on it..and need a lil info to correct the problem.

Hi AJ- I hope the info listed is helpful. That dadgummed saw is like the Everready Bunny-It keeps going, and going, and...

It's good to know who the mfgr is, but as I stated any part we've ever needed was locally (and readily) available.

We had another saw that the parts were only available from the unnamed mfgr. What a nightmare in pricing service and then getting them timely.

Thanks for the info Bob Carter. I spoke to Gerald Ledsome over the last few days. Great guy to talk to. He can answer any question you can think of without having to "look up the answer in a manual" or "transfer the call" to another department. I have ordered the Model 9000H (hydraulic/pneumatic, 14" blades, vac system, 120" scale, etc.) Check out his website at: www.ledsome.com

Gearold-Is it true that you've come up with a variation on the M****rC***p, and that it's priced less than the other M****rC***p? Inquiring minds want to know and also know if you're showing it at Decorexpo in NY?

Bogframe,
Yes, I have designed a new vise, the action is not like M*********p. It is multiangle for 4,6 or 8 sided frames. With an adjustment for miscut miters. I have had this design in the back of my head for over 3 years just never prototyped it, so far framers love it. We showed it in Las Vegas for the first time, the response was huge. It has a place to use a nail gun or press in thumbnails thru the bottom. I wont be in NY this year just too busy, hope to have all the info on my web soon.
ANDREW, Thanks for the kind words BUT I'M just doing my job. Gearold

Also have designed a air operated attachment for thumbnailers , no more twisting the knob to secure the frame while you cut the slots. One production shop went from 1.5 minutes per frame to .20 seconds per frame. I have more designs in my head for other things also. If any framers wish something was easier & faster let me know ,Will see what I can come up with...

mr ledsome...i just wanted to let you know that i talked with my boss..and it looks like we will try to bring our saw over to you. i'm not sure when..but i'll let you know.

i have to say that if anyone is in the market for a new saw. you'd not go wrong in checking this particular company out. the saw we have is close to 30 years old...and its still cutting moulding and fillets. its taken this long for a couple minor problems to develop. kinda like a car..you have to change a few parts out every now and again.

the technical help that i got was just as impressive. i'm anxious to see some of these new products that were mentioned. keep up the good work mr ledsome.

Hello. Well, I am certainly well setup with the model 9000H (14" hydraulic/pneumatic) duble mitre saw from Ledome. I luv it...VERY smooth operation, excellent cuts, low maintance, etc. Thanks Gerald.... ajhohensee
