Mitre Saw Opinion

I'm looking at purchasing a used CTD D45FX double mitre saw. It was manufactured end of 2004 so not that old, comes with two sets of ultramitre 14" blades and pneumatic clamping system. Seller is asking $4500.

Two questions, First, does that sound like a reasonable price, Second, any CTD users out threre with likes or dislikes of thier machines? or recomendations of what machine you like best?

I have used several double mitre saws over the past thirty years and yes this is a good deal. My old CTD was cutting between 50-100 frames per day. After 3 years it was still like new. Any of these saws will last for decades. I am currently using a 30 year old Pistorius.

These saws are all very similar and if you are really looking for a double mitre I say jump on it.
