I have a manual under pinner and the drive head isnt falling far enough below the vnail to "catch" it and drive it into the wood. The drive head isnt laying flush to allow the tensioned V Nail to enter the drive chute.

I don't have a manual and cant find anything online to help.

Is there some type of adjustment that can be made to remedy this?

It's been cleaned as I know that glue and wood pieces can cause this issue but I've never had this lingering issue since I've had it.

Thanks in advance.

That part and its surrounding surfaces may need a little more extensive cleaning, and some lubrication.
