I'm looking for a source for the graduated measuring strip used with a miter saw. I saw them once but can't recall where. The one I'm looking for has an adhesive backing and is graduated in 1/8" increments, the purpose of this is to replace one which is too worn to read.

I don't know if this is what you need but go to: www.biesemeyer.com and then click on"products" then "mitre" and then "tapes"...I think. If this isn't what you need then I would go to woodonline.com and ask the question on their woodworking forum.

If you table is a Phaedra, you can order a new decal from them. I have had mine for 14 years and can still read mine like it was new. Most of them are colored completely through the plastic decal.

FF,

Are you looking for a regular glue-down rule like a tape rule or are you looking for the graduated 4" wide decal that is used on the calibration table of a chop saw setup??

I may have misunderstood what it was you were looking for. The decal that I referred to is specially made for a Phaedra or similar chop saw calibration table and is a dedicated rule to actually cut mitered lengths of frame moulding.

I suspect either I am confused or everyone else is because most of the posts are for regular stick-down tape measures.
