Mirror is 19x19. Frame is very hard wood. I can barely penetrate the wood with points or brads. And the frame depth will only accommodate the mirror and 1/8" FomCore, so I'm shooting at an angle, which is a good way to break a perfectly fine mirror.

Should I use silicone or mastic? If so, any tips.. I've never used silicone on a mirror before.

Thanks,
Susan

How about reversing 1/8" offset brackets to hold the mirror in place thereby pressing the package into the rabbit. If it is too much, release some of the screw pressure holding down the bracket or add a mat board shim under the bracket.

Thanks Jerome! That'll work!
