Can someone help point to this thread:

Ez-attach versus traditional stitching

It is the one where we had the discussion Fortuna is seeking.

Thank you,

I bought these, too. Work great and CHEAP!

Roz, If you will be in Las Vegas please stop to see a live demonstration of the EZ-Tach system. This product was designed to help easily attach three dimensional artwork, but the attachments can also be used with any thread or floss as a tie off to finish any sewing project when using any type, or length of thread. My booth # is 1841.

stshof, I think if you will check out the Attach-EZ web site you will find that the MicroTach tool on the ebay site you are referring Grumblers to is not a very good deal. Our price includes 1080 more fasteners for $1.95 less, a permanent warranty on the tool when purchased from an Attach-EZ selling agent, and approximately $3.00 less in shipping costs.

TimHayse, Tach-It tools are also considerably more expensive and the MicroTach fasteners will not fit in their tool no matter what they tell you. Their tool is the same as the Attach-EZ(Fine Fabric) GPFF tool.

The only tool in which the MicroTach fasteners will fit is the MicroTach tool.

Hope this clears up a few misconceptions.

I'm so sorry! I cut and pasted that link from the original Grumble post that I used to buy the needles and didn't check it first.

Needless to say, it's not the right one. These needles are no longer available. However, they were really, really inexpensive and work in our machine. They are Avery 10070 Tagging Gun Needles. Now I realize you didn't even want needles, you wanted fasteners! Sorry for the confusion!

I've been using the Tach-it for 10-12 yeras it has served us well for a variety of uses and is the least expensive most versatile that I have found.

thanks everyone. i went to the attach-eze site. it is weird because adobe acrobat reader comes up and it's an order form, but apparently you have to print and mail. this seems nuts to me, no on-line ordering. i sent them an e-mail asking if there is a way to order on-line. i appreciate everyone's help on this site.

call cmi moulding in houston. They carry them in stock. The phone number is 713-690-1633

I realize that many companies are going to on-line ordering such as Pay Pal. The reason I haven't done so is because of all the computer virus's that are out there. Because I haven't gone to an on-line order system I am doing everything I can to make it as convenient as possible to order in other ways.

Most of the distributors such as, United, LJ, M&M, CMI etc. who were carrying the Attach-EZ product line through Fletcher are still carrying the line. If they are temporarily out of stock you can order direct by just calling my 800 number (1-800-527-1521) or E-mail me at attachezoms@aol.com for an E-Mail order form which you can fill out and return via E-mail.

When we ship direct we ship same day if the order comes in before 3:00 PM CST. Our order and technical service line is open to receive calls Mon-Sat from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Central Standard Time.

For anyone who has questions about any of the Attach-EZ products please call my 800 number during the business hours and I will be glad to give you the correct information. That goes for technical service problems as well. Thanks.
