Jean,
A couple of ideas that may help you with your price structuring........

Are you referring to Regular "Paper" mats (which are "Acid-Free"), or do you mean to set your pricing category for Conservation Level boards, i.e. Crescent Rag Mat, Bainbridge Alpahmat, etc.?

You probably don't want to have the same per united inch charge for all desgins.....for example, a "Bridge Mat" is much more complicated than a simple "slant notch" corner......variable pricing would probably be better.

A simple per united inch charge does not charge enough for the smaller mats, therefore the pricing probably needs to be weighted. The POS software that I currently use in our shop allows us to do this. Your Fletcher F-6100 is interfaced with all four major POS vendors:
Specialty Soft, Full Calc, LifeSaver and FerenSoft. This should make it a great deal easier to price consistantly for "complicated" designs.

Fletcher has a web site, where F-6100 owners can discuss these issues in a private forum. Go to:
The Fletcher-Terry Co.. I'm sure several discussions on this subject have developed.
