I have just ruined two pieces of mat board and my "helper" is making a mad dash to the distributor's to pick up a new piece - at 4:50 on a Friday!

I don't know what or why this is happening. As I pull the bladed towards me - the blade decides it is going to (not hook) but cut about 1/8 off at the end closest to me - as if the board is slipping.

I don't know what I am doing differently. It has not happened on other mats. This one is fairly narrow and larger - but I have not had this problem before...

Help! (I know... get a CMC!!)

Just figured out the problem. Used a scrap of "beautiful" pink and it almost did it again. The fact that the mat is narrow and once I cut one side and turn to cut the next side - it gets "caught" on the arm and is causing the slippage.

Problem solved. Phew.

Glad we could help!
