Markup on a bulk job

Hello,

Do you use a "standard" markup on a bulk mat order ? Customer is looking for 100+ double mats all cut the same way , mats only. So question is , do you use a standard cost x 1.5 or cost x 1.35 or ????

How many mats can you get per sheet? What is the size of the mat?

On large bulk jobs, I often work backwards on pricing. Not from cost up.

Time is more important than material cost on production jobs.

I would add the material cost x2 (include shipping & wastage, if any) plus shop rate (actual time taken).
Good average shop rate would be $50. This covers labor & overhead.
