We have an AMP VN-4 gathering dust in our shop because the gentleman joining our frames is used to the VN-2. I need a manual for the VN-4; specifically the computer attatchment so I can get him up to speed for a production job. Anyone have one they can copy, scan, sell?

OK BOG

OK BOG;

Tell us what you are doing. The last thing I remember was that you were still looking for a position - that was like 6 months ago.

Why not connect with the company? That would be the first option. They still make these machines, so I am sure they can provide it. And that is an extremely easy machine to use, convince your frame builder to use it. I think it is much better than the VN2

OK, this just goes to show what sitting in front of a computer 8 hours a day can do to you! I should have thought of that myself. As for what I'm doing, I'm back at one of my old jobs, but only doing sales and data entry. Since they got their CMC it seems that my mat cutting skills are no longer relevant!

OK, AMP/ITW was very nice and e-mailed me the manual. The problem is that either it's way more complicated than I could have dreamed of, or I'm dumb. All I want is to set it up so I can do a run of the same moulding in a faster mode than stepping on the pedal. (I want to join moulding as fast as I can line it up in the machine. Does anyone have one of these and can you explain it in small words?

Hi Seth,

Nice to see you online! Didn't I tell you that the computerized mat cutter would "get" you one of these days ;-)? But as far as I recall you still have your faithful manual mat cutter at home and you are always welcome to come and use ours.

Regards to Blanche.
