Hi,

I have had little luck in the local hardware stores so I thought I would put it here.

I am looking for the little round magnets that I can sink into a face frame and the backing frame of a display case I made for a customer.

I am trying not to do a traditional clasp mechanism but instead like the stealth look of the magnets.

Anybody got a suplier? Or another idea would also be welcomed.

Wow, posted this a few minutes ago and already have 3 posts.

Thank you. I think these will do it.

Have a good day all.

Check ebay as well. Lots of good sellers of specialized goods. Just check their feedback.

I posted these photos a year or 2 ago using the rare earth magnets to hold a glassed frame in place. I used Framerica Boxers for the shadowbox and inlaid 2 1/4" magnets on the top and 2 on the bottom of the extender opening. You can use their washers for the door edges if there is enough room, I countersunk flathead wood screws into the door edges coinciding with the magnets to hold things together.

I have used the larger sizes for design work and they are really powerful for their size! And they are very affordable through Lee Valley and I am sure the other distributors.
